Teaching Method

Raquel's approach to teaching is not like that of a typical language academy. She establishes her own teaching method in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere in which she gets to know the students, their learning ways, their specific needs. There is never a shortage of conversation topics in her classes.

You will participate in lessons that are natural, intuitive, adaptable. Raquel's students make a common comment: time goes so fast during the class. That is because class time is spent efficiently learning Spanish. Her lessons are the result of a vocational and passionate way of teaching, perfected by years of practice.

From your very first class, when she meets you, you will read, write, hear and speak Spanish. You will increase your fluency and confidence lesson by lesson. She will lead you to practise role plays, debates about current issues, opinions, comments about readings and movies, and talk about real-life events of your interest. She will integrate your learning experience with your life, and teach you structures and forms so that you begin to communicate ideas and phrases right away.

Raquel's methodology is very oriented to gain fluency in Spanish. You will start with maintaining simple conversations, that will become increasingly more complex. The grammar you learn you use it to build conversations, so you can put what you learn into practice immediately.

You will learn not only the Spanish language, but a cultural experience in a fun and friendly environment. It is the best and most practical way to learn a language.
